May have been the first sin!
The serpent in the garden, full of pride himself,
played on Eve's self-esteem using pride~
He convinced her that if she ate of it
her eyes would be opened and she
would be like God, knowing good and evil.

ReplyDeletePride is one of the 7 deadly sins! It's pretty severe because it's hard to overcome.
ReplyDeleteI agree 'gottjesus' the more content one becomes with God the easier it is to be victorious over our weaknesses. Pride is having an attitude of self-superiority and the only Superior there is is God.
